I'm pleased to see that the problems I was having before are resolved; up until 0.1.3rc7, Ubiquity looked pieced together in my Firefox and was completely unusable.

Anyhow, only one minor issue remains: the compositing on the Ubiquity window looks inappropriate when using Metacity (and perhaps Compiz, but I'm unable to test). I will attach a screenshot. I'm not sure if it's possible to tell the window manager not to composit a specific window, but that would seem to be the ideal solution if possible.

I'm also experiencing this flaw and I'm using KWin (KDE) 4.2.0 with compositing enabled.
